So thats’ 2014 done and dusted and for me it was a great year photographically speaking. Lots of improvements in style and technique made and now with my current kit I feel confident in my workflow and approach to image making. Fuji X-T1 & 56mm f1.2 – Amber Tutton

Today I arranged some time in the studio to really put the X-T1 and the Fujinon XF 56mm f1.2 through it’s paces. I wanted to try using the various Fuji colour profiles the camera has as well as use it with different types of studio lights and wireless triggers to see what worked and what didn’t. A Boudoir shoot in The Hague with the Fuji X-T1

Last week I made a trip out to The Hague to take part in a workshop run by Damien Lovegrove. The theme was to be boudoir and it was shot entirely within the Hotel NH Den Haag, a fabulous modern hotel in the heart of the commercial area of The Hague. Cinematic/Film Noir at Clifton House

Saturday 5th April was a great day to test my new Fujinon 56mm f1.2 lens paired with my X-T1. The day, a shoot at Clifton Hill House in Bristol organised by the wonderful Sue Fyfe-Williams would cover the golden years of cinematic/film noir history with 4 models, Make-up artists, hair stylists and dress/set stylists.
