On Monday 8th December 2013 I got to attend the private viewing of the exhibition showcasing all the wonderful images that made it into this years “Landscape Photographer of The Year” book. All the images are on display at the National Theatre, Southbank London. It was a great night where I got to meet some good photography friends and made some new friends as well. The evening was hosted by Charlie Waite, the founder of the competition/book and we had a celebrity guest speaker in the form of David Schofield, a leading British actor.
The images all on display were absolutely stunning and in my personal opinion a big step up from previous years entries. That is not to say that those previous entrees were not of an extremely high standard because there were. It just seems this year there were less “random” ones shall i say.
Anyway like i said it was good to see and meet everyone and the reason for the blog post was so I could show everyone my winning entry being projected onto the side of the building as part of the slideshow. So here it is!
